September Adagio

Piece description from the artist

Lush trees overhang the water, reflecting nearby mountains and the clouds of early autumn. This creek is near town, which is an hour away from the artist’s studio, and it really is that lush and peaceful. There’s a highway just behind those trees, but you can’t hear it from here. Something about this drawing murmurs about the depth of the water, the depth of the trees and the mountains in the background, and the depth of the autumn and winter to come.
