Piece description from the artist
Framed by tall pine trees on both sides, this photograph captures the breathtaking expansive view from Yovimpa Point in Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah, United States. Located beside Rainbow Point at an elevation of 9,115 feet, it stands as one of the park’s highest and most impressive viewpoints. The vivid orange hoodoos and cliffs contrast beautifully with the green evergreens, the distant blue mountains, and the wide-open partly cloudy sky. From this vantage point, the view stretches for more than 100 miles across the colorful “steps” of the Grand Staircase (towards the right behind the trees), revealing one of the most awe-inspiring vistas in all of Bryce Canyon.
