Yosemite Valley Sunrise

Piece description from the artist

This photograph was taken two years ago on my first winter trip to Yosemite Valley. Waking up early in the morning I drove first to the the iconic "Tunnel View" hoping to capture a great shot.

Unfortunately, the morning remained shrouded in mist concealing the view. I decided to drive into the valley and get some coffee and breakfast. While driving the sun began to burn of the mist revealing the valley. I was able to park my car near the Swinging Bridge picnic area to capture this shot just as the mist had burned away revealing Yosemite Falls in the distance.
