Sutro tower through the fog

Sutro Tower through the Fog

Piece description from the artist

I took this shot from the opposite side of the Golden Gate Bridge in the Marin Headlands. There is a great trail that leads to Slacker Hill. The trail is 3/4 of a mile straight up to the top of a hill that overlooks the Golden Gate and the surrounding bay area.

It is my favorite view of the city. On this particular trip the city and the bay were covered in the famous San Francisco Fog. I love how Sutro Tower bursts out of the fog a sunrise in this shot.
