A paper collage created with alcohol inks. First I painted different alcohol ink paintings on yupo paper, then cut them into tree shapes, and glued them onto another alcohol ink painting.
Mary Elizabeth has always been a painter. Painting is how she expresses her joy for life. She is a prolific artist with a wide range of mediums and surfaces, including: encaustic wax, oil paints, alcohol inks, watercolors, acrylics, porcelain, clay, ceramic and glass. She lives with her family in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina.
