These pretty little weeds grow outside my studio. The friendly yellow flowers looked so pretty in the sunlight, I couldn't resist sitting right next to them and painting. I've created this piece with pen and alcohol inks.
I find my happy place in creating flowers and I hope you see a happy version of yourself in my work as well.
I've always been an artist and painting is how I express my joy for life. Nature is my inspiration. I'm a prolific creator, with a wide range of mediums and surfaces including: encaustic wax, oil paints, alcohol inks, watercolors, acrylics, textiles, pottery, ceramic decals and glass. I live with my family in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. We have a dog, who makes us a family of 5.
