Times Square at Night

Piece description from the artist

The brilliant colors displayed on Times Square at night inspired me to capture this view of the congested taxi traffic below the gigantic neon signs on the top of the buildings lining the street. I stood on the corner to catch the old Crown Victoria taxis close up, as many are not in service anymore. My goal was to reveal the method to the madness that lures visitors from all over the world to this spot. This piece represents vibrancy, joy in all that is theater, traditional advertising through signage, and throngs of visitors who desire to experience this first hand. I saw joy in the crowds and an enthusiasm in the air when in this environment.
