The stunning Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Garden is a botanical garden located at 45–680 Luluku Road, Kāne'ohe, Oahu, Hawaii. It is part of the Honolulu Botanical Gardens. I visited this mesmerizing garden to see the abundant flora and the ancient trees that thrive in this misty haven. My goal was to see and experience driving through all the varieties of vegetation and the beautiful planning that went into this garden. My idea was to share this view with hotels or hospitals that need healing images for patient well being. This garden is lush, verdant, varied, and colorful. I was drawn to the feeling of being immersed in gorgeous trees, flowers, and other plants. This image makes me think of solace, growth, and nourishment.

Lillis' goal is to create scenes with a unique perspective in a composition and color range to allow the viewer to feel as if they are in the scene. She wants her artwork to inspire others to travel and explore new locations.
