Piece description from the artist
I created this piece from a prompt that my friend scribbled for me.
"And then before she knew it, she was truly alone."
From that prompt, I imagined a queen that lost all her subjects and was feeling "truly alone"
how she lost her subjects- only the queen knows.
Hanna is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, who spent her childhood in both Korea and America. She currently lives in Boston and recently finished her first book, Tiny Feet Between the Mountains (S&S, Nov 2019), which she wrote and illustrated.
She has an affinity for soft washes, narrative, and light. When she isn't doodling away without a care she loves to bask and glow in all four seasons.
