I have a cat called Hobac (it means pumpkin in Korean) and this is the pose he sleeps in all the time. He looked so warm, peaceful, and comfortable- that I decided to draw him at that calm moment with my self- insert.
Hanna is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, who spent her childhood in both Korea and America. She currently lives in Boston and recently finished her first book, Tiny Feet Between the Mountains (S&S, Nov 2019), which she wrote and illustrated.
She has an affinity for soft washes, narrative, and light. When she isn't doodling away without a care she loves to bask and glow in all four seasons.
