Sweet summer sip

Piece description from the artist

It’s easy to overlook birds. They’re virtually everywhere – from big cities, to suburban backyards to deserts and tundra. In the frenzy of daily life, it’s easy to forget about them, and what it would be like if they were gone. To me, when you start to notice birds, you become more aware of all the life around you. You realize there’s more life on earth that just mankind, how fragile that is, and that we must do more to protect it. I hope this image of a hummingbird sipping on a flower helps raise that awareness.
