I was intrigued by the shapes I found in this field of corn lillies near Crested Butte, Colorado. I chose to include only the color green in this image and emphasize the light and shapes of the leaves to create an image that invites the viewer to dive deep and explore.
After a career as a photographer and visuals editor in newspapers, I decided to focus on documenting the natural world. I hope my images can not only bring others joy but also create a better understanding of the beauty and life around us.
