Piece description from the artist
If you have seen my portfolio, you have seen my series of Sun Chaser images. I am inspired by the interface of human beings and the natural world at specific moments in time. As in this image, the Sun Chaser series describes a nearly exact moment in time where the merging of the person, the means (mountain bike), the light, and the landscape become an expression of beauty and motivation. This ephemeral moment becomes a celebration of the potential every day holds for discovery and expression. The discovery of this moment, again and again, in varying circumstances, in different locales, at myriad angles and compositions… keeps me a Sun Chaser.

Kevin’s work aims to bring to light the inimitable, and often contradictory beauty that exemplifies the landscapes, destinations, and unique brand of individuals that make up the American West.
