This photograph was taken in a favorite local park that has a community garden. This particular shot is a macro photograph of a set of flowers that had newly bloomed for the springtime. The colors are bright and vivid and would cheerful and whimsical hanging at home or in an office setting.
Catherine is a photographer based in Portland, Oregon, and originally from the Midwest. She is passionate about being in nature, making discoveries, and capturing those scenes on camera. She specializes in landscapes, wildlife, plants, and macro photography. When not viewing the world through an artistic lens, she volunteers for several animal non-profit organizations. Catherine makes her best attempts to be a hands-on advocate for conservation, animal welfare, and environmental issues.
In her professional career, she is an Instructional Designer and E-Learning Developer with a Master of Education degree. In addition to her love for sharing knowledge, she also enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, and traveling.
