This particular beach along the Oregon coastline is one of my favorite places to visit and spend the day. Some places "speak" to a person, and this is one of them for me. The ocean is a reliable source of calmness for me. This image captures the simplicity and beauty of the Pacific Ocean and the rocky formations that rest alongside it.
Catherine is a photographer based in Portland, Oregon, and originally from the Midwest. She is passionate about being in nature, making discoveries, and capturing those scenes on camera. She specializes in landscapes, wildlife, plants, and macro photography. When not viewing the world through an artistic lens, she volunteers for several animal non-profit organizations. Catherine makes her best attempts to be a hands-on advocate for conservation, animal welfare, and environmental issues.
In her professional career, she is an Instructional Designer and E-Learning Developer with a Master of Education degree. In addition to her love for sharing knowledge, she also enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, and traveling.
