Space ship 2

Space Ship

Piece description from the artist

I went to Patagonia to have an adventure and promptly bit off more than I could chew. The mountain you are looking at is called Fitz Roy. It's literally the mountain you see on the Patagonia company logo. Incredibly beautiful. There is a town called El Chalten nestled at the base of it, which is utterly charming. My local guide was taking me on what is called the Marconi Circuit- a five-day trek up the glaciers on one side, across the Patagonian Ice Field behind Fitz Roy, back over the glaciers on the other side, and then back to El Chalten. It was, without question, the hardest thing I've ever done. I almost fell into countless crevasses, we got stuck in a blizzard for two days, and I almost broke my leg when I was thrown by the strongest gust of wind I've ever experienced. But, I walked away with this shot, which remains one of the most memorable I've ever taken, what with that beautiful lenticular cloud. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
