On the way to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, we stopped one night in a small village. There was nothing for miles, but it was incredibly beautiful. The next morning, stepping out of our teahouse, we all looked up and saw this surreal landscape. I will admit, it does look like some fantasy photoshop job, but that is what I saw. Magic!

Patrick Hamilton is a writer and photographer who lives and works in New York City. His photographs of landscapes and cityscapes include locations from all over the world. Patrick Hamilton’s career began in 2004 when he got his first film camera. He promptly fell in love with photography and immediately combined it with his passion for travel. His experiences and artistic direction eventually culminated in his distinct style of combing iconic natural wonders with a sense of isolation and stoicism.
