Sailin' was inspired by escape. One day, in the midst of bachelor party benders in Thailand, I walked an hour from our AirBnB to Phuket Beach and witnessed several thrill seekers taking to the sky by parasail. In that moment our escapes felt one in the same.
Blaise Roy Ormond is a multi-disciplinary artist born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Blaise began shooting film photography as a hobby in 2017 after completing his Master’s degree in Media Ventures from Boston University. Over the years, as the world of photography continued to trend more digital, he became passionate about revitalizing tangible art with analog technology. This passion has inspired Blaise to shoot photography exclusively with 110 film and capture that nostalgic essence on vintage cameras.
