Photography is about light and timing, and finding a moment to stand in the middle of this busy New York City bridge to make this image was a feat in and of itself. The resulting image is an angular architectural masterwork that is reminiscent of days past.
Blaise Roy Ormond is a multi-disciplinary artist born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Blaise began shooting film photography as a hobby in 2017 after completing his Master’s degree in Media Ventures from Boston University. Over the years, as the world of photography continued to trend more digital, he became passionate about revitalizing tangible art with analog technology. This passion has inspired Blaise to shoot photography exclusively with 110 film and capture that nostalgic essence on vintage cameras.
