This painting was a study of a old world devotional piece about St Ignatius Loyola and St. Louis Gonzaga. This piece was meant to inspire the love of God and remind the devout about his greatness.
Rachel Goede is from Omaha, Nebraska, where she started drawing with pens when she was only one year old.
During high school, she started to paint and went to study in Italy as an exchange student. When Rachel came back to the United States, she attended Arizona State University, where she graduated with a degree in Italian and painting in 2008. Today, Rachel is a full-time mom, a full-time marketer, a full-time artist, and a part-time day-dreamer.
She currently works as a gallery attendant in Scottsdale, Arizona where she can be surrounded by art on a daily basis.
