Sections of the drive to Sequoia National Park feel like time traveling. While the overgrown weeds of this abandoned gas station give an aura of neglect, the classic pick up truck and the perfectly in tact signage make for an image dipped in 50s nostalgia.
Blaise Roy Ormond is a multi-disciplinary artist born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Blaise began shooting film photography as a hobby in 2017 after completing his Master’s degree in Media Ventures from Boston University. Over the years, as the world of photography continued to trend more digital, he became passionate about revitalizing tangible art with analog technology. This passion has inspired Blaise to shoot photography exclusively with 110 film and capture that nostalgic essence on vintage cameras.
