Walking through Sequoia & King's Canyon National Park is akin to traveling to a distant planet where oxygen levels are high and flora flourish to unimaginable sizes. The sheer size of these trees were the biggest assist in helping me create this comparative piece. A 6 foot tall woman – walking with giants.
Blaise Roy Ormond is a multi-disciplinary artist born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Blaise began shooting film photography as a hobby in 2017 after completing his Master’s degree in Media Ventures from Boston University. Over the years, as the world of photography continued to trend more digital, he became passionate about revitalizing tangible art with analog technology. This passion has inspired Blaise to shoot photography exclusively with 110 film and capture that nostalgic essence on vintage cameras.
