Rainbow Basin is a conservation area in my hometown. It is absolutely beautiful; there are fields, trails winding through the forrest and rolling hills. It reminds me of some magical far off world that I could only read about. This work fuses two images I took while standing in the same spot, moving only my camera. I took inspiration from the looming tree branches, extending the images even more through folding the photographic paper. This stretching effect mixed with the overlapping images emphasizes the surreal ambience of Rainbow Basin.
