A stunning purple Magnolia blossom originally created with alcohol inks.
After an urban hike with my family, and at the edge of a parking lot, we came across a magnolia tree with beautiful purple blossoms. I love how the alcohol inks allowed me to create this striking background against the vibrancy of the blooms.
I find my happy place in creating flowers and I hope you see a happy version of yourself in my work as well.
I've always been an artist and painting is how I express my joy for life. Nature is my inspiration. I'm a prolific creator, with a wide range of mediums and surfaces including: encaustic wax, oil paints, alcohol inks, watercolors, acrylics, textiles, pottery, ceramic decals and glass. I live with my family in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. We have a dog, who makes us a family of 5.
