Delicate Lenten Roses to brighten your space. This beautiful painting was originally created with alcohol inks and I used the real Lenten Rose flower petals and leaves, dipped in inks, to create some of the painting effects. The original painting is created with alcohol inks and plant stampings. Painted outside, using the actual plant as part of the process.
I've always been an artist and painting is how I express my joy for life. Nature is my inspiration. I'm a prolific creator, with a wide range of mediums and surfaces including: encaustic wax, oil paints, alcohol inks, watercolors, acrylics, textiles, pottery, ceramic decals and glass. I live with my family in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. We have a dog, who makes us a family of 5.
