Paris Sunset

Piece description from the artist

This photo captures a blue hour view of a Paris, France sunset with highly unusual cloud formations. This photo was taken from the Pont Saint-Louis, the small bridge that connects the Ile Saint-Louis to the Ile de la Cite. My objective in capturing this view was to catch the glimmering light in the city as the sun was sinking below the horizon. It was 11:00 PM, and quite late for the sky to be lit, but this moment was taken in summer when daylight hours were lengthy. The golden shimmer, reflections, and the beautiful Seine River all came to life at this hour for an exquisite memory in this historic area of Paris.
