Piece description from the artist
This photo was captured on a chilly January afternoon in Ocean City, Maryland. This photo froze a moment in time as the high winds blew the wave as it curled towards the beach. The wave turned into mist and uncontrolled white spray. My goal in taking this photo was to reveal what the Atlantic Ocean did in the off season when no one was around. The waves look turbulent and the velocity of the curls are frantic. I want the viewer to see the contrast that exists in nature in all seasons. Just as people and things around us change over time, so does the environment that surrounds us. No matter what changes, we always find momentous beauty.
