I loved the way the trees in the background were bathed in sunlight, but the foreground is in shade! The sun was getting low and I was hoping to capture a moose or two near this tarn, but not on this night! This area is usually where you can find moose because it's filled with water and swampy areas, which they love! I did capture a beautiful landscape though.
Barbara has been exposed to art and creativity, her entire life! Her mother was an oil painter and her grandfather, not only an MD, but a talented artist as well. At the age of 16, Barbara found her creative passion looking through the lens of a Canon camera. She has been a photographer from that point on, finding subject matter from the gritty streets of Manhattan, to the alpine environment of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. She feels most at home now, among big horned sheep, moose and mountains of Colorado!
