Framing the rugged verticality of a high-altitude mountain wall, this image emphasizes repeating natural angles, sharp ridges, and organic stone textures. The dark silhouette of the forested foreground provides a strong compositional base, drawing the eye upward toward the sunlit crags and distant peaks. Crisp daylight illuminates the natural geometry of the terrain under a clear sky.
From the smallest details of macro to the vast panorama of a landscape, with a quick stop off at many subjects in between, Rick's passion for detail and capturing the moment has inspired him to shoot many different genres.
