A straight-on study of side-by-side historic Dutch brick facades in Gouda, Netherlands. Vibrant yellow shopfront casing and red-and-white national flags contrast sharply against weathered brickwork and glass reflections. Displays of wheel cheese, potted greenery, and a step-through bicycle anchor the ground level, capturing an authentic, quiet moment of European street architecture.
From the smallest details of macro to the vast panorama of a landscape, with a quick stop off at many subjects in between, Rick's passion for detail and capturing the moment has inspired him to shoot many different genres. He enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and will take his camera, even on work trips. More recently, he has been practicing creating artistic renditions of his photograph.
