Piece description from the artist
I captured this vertical photograph of a gravel hiking trail winding cutting through the autumn landscape at Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area in Branson, Missouri. Tall grasses, overgrown weeds, and scattered trees line the path as it follows the rolling hills of the White River Hills in western Taney County. The early morning atmosphere had a slight haze after recent rainfall, with small puddles remaining along the trail.
I love how the golden yellow and orange grasses glow in the morning sunlight while soft blue gray clouds linger over the hills ahead. The vertical composition draws your eyes along the gravel path and into the layered Ozarks landscape, highlighting the natural beauty and rustic charm of this scenic conservation area. It's a wonderful place to experience Missouri's fall colors and enjoy the rolling hills that make the Ozarks so special.
