This vertical photograph showcases the towering presence of Glen Canyon Dam rising high above the Colorado River in Page, Arizona, USA. Framed to emphasize height and scale, the massive concrete arch-gravity dam stretches upward against steep canyon walls. Warm evening light illuminates one side of the vibrant orange rock face, while the opposite wall remains in deep shadow, creating strong vertical contrast. Located within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, this view from the river side highlights the dramatic meeting of human engineering and the natural beauty of the American Southwest.
