Piece description from the artist
This vertical photograph captures foxtail grass backlit by the autumn sun on a quiet farm in the Missouri Ozarks. The golden light highlights the delicate details of the weeds, while a rustic barbed wire fence stretches across the background, adding a touch of rural charm. I photographed this peaceful fall scene on a farm east of Ava, Missouri, within the scenic Mark Twain National Forest, a beautiful area known for its rolling hills, farmland, and natural beauty. This simple yet striking moment reflects the timeless character of the Ozarks and makes an ideal subject for nature and rural landscape photography.
