Columbia river gorge

Columbia River Gorge

Piece description from the artist

This piece was inspired by driving through Oregon through the Columbia River Gorge. The mist creeping over the mountains and the eerily quiet roads begged to be turned into a painting. The colors were taken directly from images in that landscape and the wax was allowed to flow spontaneously.
