Cherry Blossom Altar

Piece description from the artist

I wouldn't be much of a local DC artist if I never made any cherry blossom art. These works are inspired by Japanese Ukiyo-e print making. The skill and artistry in the this print making method has always been something I've found very interesting. I love the idea of carving an illustration. the final wood blocks that are created are lovely works of art in and of themselves.
