Casting Lines in Autumn Bennett Spring

Piece description from the artist

A wonderful autumn day at Bennett Spring State Park in Bennett Springs, Missouri, captures fishermen and a fisherwoman wading in the cool, spring-fed river as they cast their lines for trout. The golden and red leaves of the season glow in the sunlight, their colors mirrored on the clear surface of the water. Nestled in the Ozarks near Lebanon, MO, this park is one of the earliest state parks in Missouri. Its namesake spring is among the largest in the state, releasing nearly 100 million gallons of fresh water daily, the very water that flows through this scenic fishing stream.
