A mostly cloudy sky with scattered showers adds drama to this expansive landscape view of the Black Hills with a distant site of Mount Rushmore. I captured this photograph from Norbeck Overlook in Keystone, South Dakota. This stunning view is located off of the scenic Peter Norbeck Scenic Byway which is also part of the famous Iron Mountain Road. The sun is shining behind me highlighting parts of the forest and the carved mountain featuring four US Presidents. In the foreground a dead fallen tree adds character.
