Piece description from the artist
This electric shot of Times Square in New York City stands out due to its overwhelming color palette and vibrancy. The street is buzzing with activity and all things and people are illuminated beneath the classic neon signs. This is the theater district. I captured this scene at night to show off all of these characteristics and the embodiment of glamour and glitz. I wanted the viewer to feel as if they are immersed in this environment and to sense the frantic pace of life in New York. This is the most visited city in our country. I used fast speed on my camera to freeze the movement of the taxis and people. The best vantage point was the side of the street to catch the wave of movement underneath the signs. I believe that this scene alone conveys the true pulse of this city.
