A great blue heron fishes along the gulf coast in Orange Beach, Alabama before sunrise during blue hour. The long exposure is a testament to how still they stand as I captured him still while the waves are blurred from the motion. This is along the Gulf Of Mexico, also called Gulf Of America. The white sandy beach can be seen along the shoreline. The wet sand shows a slight blurred reflection of this majestic shorebird. A few clouds in the sky complete this serene tropical beach photograph.
