A couple cars at the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas, USA during the evening. This is where art, history, and self-expression converge on the open plains. Vintage Cadillacs, buried hood-down in the ground, form a staggered line with their iconic tailfins reaching skyward, each coated in thick, overlapping layers of spray paint. Installed in 1974, the cars, spanning models from 1949 to 1963, have become a living canvas, constantly reshaped by travelers passing through the Texas Panhandle along the historic Route 66.
Every surface bursts with color, words, symbols, and abstract designs, a visual record of countless visitors leaving their mark. Cadillac Ranch remains a living icon of roadside Americana that is always changing.
