Antelope Canyon Cream Cliffs

Piece description from the artist

I captured this photo while boating through the breathtaking waterway of Antelope Canyon on Lake Powell in Page, Arizona, USA. In this section of the canyon, the towering sandstone cliffs display more of a soft cream-color tones rather than the rich oranges seen in other areas I have captured in this series, creating a beautiful contrast to the blue partly cloudy sky. The water absorbs the hues of the rock.

Accessible only by boat, this part of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area offers a peaceful journey between massive sandstone walls that rise high above the calm water. A few kayakers provide a sense of scale, highlighting just how tall these majestic cliffs are.

The combination of tranquil water, towering rock formations, and subtle sandstone colors makes this one of the most unforgettable scenes in the American Southwest.
