Alabama Splashing Waves At The Jetty

I captured this coastal photograph shortly after sunrise at Perdido Pass in Orange Beach, Alabama, where gentle waves roll toward the rocky jetty along the Gulf Coast. The peaceful morning offered calm conditions, allowing the shoreline and open water to take center stage as a couple of boats quietly cruised across the horizon in the distance.

From this low perspective, I enjoyed watching the surf collide with the rocks, creating a different splash with nearly every wave. It was one of those mornings where I found myself slowing down, waiting for just the right moment as the water surged forward and then retreated back into the Gulf.

Perdido Pass connects the back bays with the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico and is one of the most scenic locations along Alabama's coast. Between the rhythmic waves, rugged jetty, and boats beginning their day on the water, this scene captures the quiet beauty that makes early mornings here so memorable.
