The yellows bring light and warmth in the abstract painting I titled "A Welcoming Light." To complement the yellow, I dappled in magenta and pink. Then for contrast, I added blues here and there. Finally, I placed large brushstrokes of a warm neutral gray to tone the painting down a tad. I aimed to achieve a dynamic, cheerful, and optimistic piece with a positive impact.
The natural world and her love for animals inspire Dara Daniel's Acrylic on canvas, mixed-media paintings. She combines bold colors and shapes and lots of textures to create fun, playful interpretations of horses and other animal spirits.
For all her paintings, she combines all the available elements of design to express rhythms and energy and moods and emotion. Dara explains, "Each painting experience is unique yet, my goal for all my paintings is to capture a degree of nature's passionate spirit, joy, and beauty."
