Red Energy

Piece description from the artist

Red is a predominant color in this painting, which I titled "Red Energy," and it's quite sensual and elegant.
I mostly used my 4-inch flat brush to create large shapes with shades of red, leaving spaces for the eye to rest, and I didn't add much detail. To complement the reds and to establish a focal point, I added sections of Naples yellow and raw sienna. Then, for a bit of contrast, I chose a dark, violet blue.
"Red Energy" can be displayed horizontally or vertically. I love the vertical option because, even though I didn't plan it, I can see a shaman-like figure with a colorful, elaborate costume and a red, fluffy headdress in the center of the composition. Can you see it too?
