About the Artist
A.D. Wheeler is a self-taught photographer who loves to push boundaries with his camera and his post-processing techniques. Andrew focuses primarily on landscape and what he coins, “abandonscape,” fine art photography. His term, “Abandonscape,” refers to the art of photographing abandoned buildings and sites of ruin and decay.
In 2012 Andrew's photo "Spinning Fire" won in the settings category for the Ron Howard and Canon Imaging's Project Imaginat10n. Andrew was also featured as a "Rising Star" on National PBS that syndicated across the US.
