SaraMarie Bottaro is originally from San Diego, California. She is in her final year of the BA + BFA program at Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. Peace and Justice Studies is her major at Tufts, and themes of non-violence and radical solidarity influence her artistic work and collaborations greatly. SaraMarie is in the Senior Thesis Program at the SMFA and is currently launching a publication house, Dancing Rabbits Publications. Awards include The President’s Research Award at the SMFA and the Peter J. Wade Memorial Scholarship at Tufts University. Her collaborative social activism project, From Boston With Love, resulted in an interview and published article in USA Today and a write up in Al Jazeera and Il Fatto Quotidiano.
