About the Artist
SaraMarie Bottaro is originally from San Diego, California. She is in her final year of the BA + BFA program at Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. Peace and Justice Studies is her major at Tufts, and themes of non-violence and radical solidarity influence her artistic work and collaborations greatly. SaraMarie is in the Senior Thesis Program at the SMFA and is currently launching a publication house, Dancing Rabbits Publications. Her collaborative social activism project, From Boston With Love, resulted in an interview and published article in USA Today and a write up in Al Jazeera and Il Fatto Quotidiano.
