Southern California based artist Patricia Vargas embraces both analog and digital worlds. With inspiration from organic materials such as fabric, flowers, gardens, and other natural sources, Patricia uses digital programs and drawing tables to translate her inspiration into the digital realm through abstract shapes, colors, and visual texture, before brining each artwork back into the physical world as a print. By exploring the correlation of color and euphoria, Patricia’s art evokes rich, atmospheric worlds and dreamy imagined spaces.
Patricia has a Bachelor’s in Art from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She garners collectors from the private sector such as Miriam Naficy and corporate collectors like the Bellagio Casino and Resort. Her work has been seen in retail stores such as Anthropolgie, West Elm, and High Fashion Home. Her art has been featured in Veranda, Domino, and Better Homes & Gardens, as well as in film and television shows such as Vox Lux and Tales of the City.
