About Patricia Vargas

Diamond Bar, CA

Patricia Vargas is a first-generation Mexican-American artist. As a product of her generation and upbringing, Patricia’s artwork showcases her equal love for digital and analog worlds. Patricia develops her own digital brushes and assets that emphasize organic texture and form. Through the use of a tablet and computer, she captures her hand motions and records them as digital brushstrokes. She creates ethereal abstract artworks with a layered painterly aesthetic. Her use of color stems from her vibrant culture as well as her passion for design and botanical themes.
Patricia has a Bachelor’s in Art from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She garners collectors from the private sector such as Miriam Naficy and corporate collectors like the Bellagio Casino and Resort. Her work has been seen in retail stores such as Anthropolgie, West Elm, and High Fashion Home. Her art has been seen in Veranda, Domino, and Better Homes & Gardens, as well as in film and television shows such as Vox Lux and Tales of the City.
