About the Artist

After receiving her B.F.A. from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Bridget has lived and worked in Baltimore, Chicago, and now currently in her hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She’s greatly inspired by the "Bay Area Painters":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bay_Area_Figurative_Movement, and her work straddles the line between abstraction and representation. Fantasy and reality. The real and the unreal. While working, she is constantly thinking about color and spatial relationships in hopes for the viewer to be drawn in and perhaps become a little lost.
