Piece description from the artist
This was inspired by the butterfly effect, which is the whimsical myth that a butterfly's wings could cause a string of events leading to a hurricane. I thought of this idea, but in application to our own lives.
Natalie Jackson-Andersen is a mixed media artist from White Stone, VA, who currently resides in Swansboro, NC. She has developed her natural talent by participating in numerous art shows and camps including a Virginia-wide residency at CNU. She placed top 100 internationally in ArtPrize 2018 for her time-based piece “Finding Souls”.
